Edgar Wallace mysteries were first shown on british TV in the 1960s and judging by the sales on places like Ebay and Amazon, the the series is still popular today.
With its great story line and fast action there plenty to admire in this classic series.
Edgar Wallace Anthology is available on box set at Amazon with plenty of bonus features and the quality of the old classic is now looking every bit as good as its first showing in the 60s.
Lots of household names first came to light on the Edgar Wallace mysteries and is nice to see the young actors for the first time on the big screen.
With its opening theme tune and the head of the famous crime writer Edgar Wallace turning slowly on Screen gives a sense of thrills to come.
I will be searching for other DVD like this collection, one of which is The Scales Of Justice what was made around the same time and again is short stories set in the 50s and 60s and is based from true crime files from Scotland Yard.
More and more of these old vintage/classic episodes are starting to appear on DVD and its been a long wait.
Edgar Wallace really is a timeless classic and now its on DVD we can only hope other classic soon follow.
